Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hospital setting and contribute to the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate

- Assist with patient intake and prepare them for examination or treatment

- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers

- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance documentation

- Assist with basic life support procedures when necessary

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care

- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing their concerns and answering their questions

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in examination rooms and other patient areas

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in Pain Managemnt or in a similar role is preferred

- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is required

- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements is essential

- Familiarity with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and handling insurance documentation, is a plus

- Basic life support certification is preferred

Pay: $15.98 - $16.81 per hour
